This ponders on the possibility of a media interview with a goat oracle. This idea arose from skewed news and media presentations. Every headline leading up to the United States 2024 presidential election has felt like jargon filler deployed. Whereas the true nurturing approach of community and care has been choked by the disregard for the environment and genocide that both presidential candidates held.
This project used a text to AI software to generate a voice for the goat where it belatedly expressed its concerns reflecting my own personal political opinions and ideations regarding this upcoming election. The AI is an inflection to the silencing of environmental consequences as AI continues to rise and mute all that is natural. This video project came off as very soft spoken in its delivery but the process to get to this stage was very grueling.
There was a balance between the beauty of nature and the cruelty of mankind reflected in the videos collaged within the final video. Scenes throughout implore the possibility of returning to a compassionate nature and the loss of our environmental landscapes. The current state of our being is meshed into the creation of this video as AI overtakes our natural world, genocide weaves the pixels on our phones, fires sprawl our homes, politicians bombard us with false promises, and we continue to gallop in the barren fields.
