The objects in this piece reflect the life of a coral reef. Pink and white structures embedded with a fluorescent glow scatter through the waves. No longer fragile or succumbing to environmental devastation, they have transformed into predatory forms, embodying both soft vigor and perseverance in the face of extinction.
Arranged to mirror the fluid motion of octopus tentacles, these mutated coral bulbs reimagine marine life through the possibilities of a 3D environment. This exploration of possibility allowed me to create otherworldly forms while remaining deeply influenced by nature.
